Guides
Overview
The Guides section provides practical, task-oriented documentation to help different audiences work effectively with Fredi. Each guide focuses on how to use, configure, or extend the platform based on the user’s role and responsibilities.
The guides are organized into three main categories—User Guide, Admin Guide, and Developer Guide, so you can quickly find information that is relevant to your role.
User Guide
The User Guide is designed for day-to-day users of Fredi, such as operations, warehouse, and logistics teams. It explains how to perform common tasks using the Fredi interface, including creating and managing shipments, selecting carriers, printing labels, and tracking shipment status.
Use this guide if you work primarily with the Fredi UI.
Admin Guide
The Admin Guide is intended for administrators responsible for configuring and maintaining Fredi. It covers system setup, master data configuration, carrier setup, user and role management, and operational settings that control how Fredi behaves for end users.
Use this guide if you manage system configuration, permissions, or integrations.
Developer Guide
The Developer Guide is aimed at technical users who integrate external systems with Fredi or extend its functionality. It provides guidance on APIs, authentication, workflows, webhooks, and integration patterns, and explains how Fredi interacts with external services such as carriers.
Use this guide if you build, integrate, or customize technical solutions around Fredi.
Note
Each guide is self-contained but cross-referenced, allowing you to move between them as needed!
