Integrations

Note

This section is intended for administrators and technical users responsible for setting up and maintaining integrations. For API usage and application development, refer to the Developer Guide and API Documentation!

Overview

The Integrations section describes how Fredi connects with external systems and services to enable shipping and related workflows. It provides guidance on configuring and using carrier integrations, understanding integration requirements, and managing dependencies between Fredi and third-party platforms.

Fredi acts as a centralized shipping layer between your internal systems and multiple logistics providers. Through standardized APIs and configurable workflows, integrations allow you to:

  • Create shipments
  • Generate shipping labels
  • Retrieve rates
  • Track shipments
  • Cancel shipments (if supported)
  • Access carrier-specific services and features

Fredi integrates with parcel, express, and freight carriers operating across domestic and international networks.

Each carrier integration includes:

  • Authentication configuration
  • Service mapping
  • Label format support
  • Feature enablement (e.g., MPS, DIMS, delivery options)

Detailed documentation for each carrier is available under Supported Carriers
